Let's Connect in Ottawa

BIOTECanada describes BIONATION as the place where "Canada's biotechnology and life sciences leaders come together with policymakers, elected officials, and sector partners." That mix of company builders, institutional investors and federal decision-makers is unusual, and the companies in the room are the ones scaling Canadian programmes into clinical development. We provide industry-leading solutions across the entire connected sample supply chain, and that is a question every one of them meets on the way. Kits built and shipped to Canadian sites and participants, courier and cold chain across provinces and into the United States, chain of custody that works for both regulators, biostorage and integration back into your systems. We'd love to talk about what your growth plan asks of the supply chain behind it.

We often find during these events that the diary fills up quickly. Use the form and we'll block a time for you to meet our team while availability lasts.

Why Attend BIONATION 2026?

September 22–23, 2026National Arts Centre, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

BIOTECanada positions BIONATION as "a platform for a national dialogue on the achievements and developments of the biotechnology ecosystem in Canada," created in 2020 and run through events, policy resources and connections to government.

1

Four threads for 2026: The 2026 programme centres on four threads the organizer names directly: building biotech companies in Canada, AI applications across the life sciences, mobilizing institutional capital, and Canada's role in dual-use innovation.

2

A single stream, not tracks: It runs as a single stream of five panels plus a keynote and the Gold Leaf Awards reception, so everyone follows the same conversation across the day and a half rather than splitting across tracks.

3

Invitation-based attendance: Attendance is invitation-based. The organizer's call to action is "Request an Invitation," and no public eligibility criteria or pricing are published, so it is worth submitting the request early if you plan to attend.

Why Meet with DS2?

Canadian biotechs scale into a supply chain that has to work at home and across the border at the same time. Provincial distribution, customs, bilingual materials and documentation that satisfies Health Canada and the FDA both. DS2 builds and runs that layer, so a growing programme does not have to assemble it supplier by supplier. What we do:

  • Diagnostic and specimen collection kit design, assembly and fulfillment
  • Kit-to-patient and direct-to-patient distribution
  • Medical courier services, including STAT and next-flight-out specimen transport
  • Cold chain and temperature-controlled logistics, with the documentation to prove the range held
  • Biostorage and biorepository services
  • Mobile phlebotomy and specimen collection
  • LIS, LIMS and EMR integration, including HL7 and FHIR
  • Chain of custody and compliance documentation

Kit design and fulfillment, kit-to-patient distribution, courier and cold chain, biostorage and system integration, run as one service. We're excited to talk it through in Ottawa.
