DTRA brings together the sponsors, sites, technology partners and service providers advancing decentralized and at-home research. It is a community DS2 believes in and is glad to support, and we are looking forward to two days with it. If your design sends a kit to a participant's door, brings a phlebotomist to their home, or depends on a sample traveling back safely, we would love to talk. Share what you have learned so far and we will talk openly about how we would support it at scale.

Why Attend the DTRA 2026 Annual Meeting?

The Decentralized Trials & Research Alliance describes its annual meeting as the moment its member community gathers to exchange ideas, forge connections and advance a shared mission of making patient-focused research accessible to all.

An intentionally open program: Two days of general sessions built from panel conversations with leaders working in decentralized research, fireside chats with regulatory and government agency authorities, in-person DTRA CoLab gatherings, company presentations and a live Leadership Council meeting for council members.

Concentration rather than scale: Somewhere between 250 and 400 people, most of them working on at-home and community-based research, in a building that holds everyone in one room.

A member event: It is a member event: registration is open to employees of current DTRA organizational members.

Why Meet with DS2?

Decentralized design lives or dies on delivery. If the kit never reaches the door or the sample never comes back, there is no data to analyze. DS2 builds and runs that layer, including at-home collection. What we do:

  • Diagnostic and specimen collection kit design, assembly and fulfillment
  • Kit-to-patient and direct-to-patient distribution
  • Medical courier services, including STAT and next-flight-out specimen transport
  • Cold chain and temperature-controlled logistics, with the documentation to prove the range held
  • Biostorage and biorepository services
  • Mobile phlebotomy and specimen collection
  • LIS, LIMS and EMR integration, including HL7 and FHIR
  • Chain of custody and compliance documentation

Direct-to-patient kit supply, at-home phlebotomy, specimen returns, and the integration behind them. That's what we're most looking forward to talking about in Cambridge.

The Meeting at a Glance

DTRA publishes an event-at-a-glance rather than a timed session list. Breakfast and lunch are included on both days. DTRA has said the 2026 speaker roster will be released closer to the event. The current schedule is on the official meeting page.
