ASH publishes 26,000 professional attendees, 60 percent domestic and 40 percent international, across hematology, internal medicine, pathology and pediatrics, working in hospitals, academic centers and industry. Hematology runs on blood samples and cellular products, which puts it about as close to our work as a therapeutic area gets. We provide industry-leading solutions across the entire connected sample supply chain. Why Attend the ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition?
ASH describes the annual meeting as "the premier event in malignant and non-malignant hematology" and "the premier global event for advancing hematology research and science, clinical practice, education, and community." The society's newsroom calls it "the world's most comprehensive hematology event of the year."
26,000 attendees from around the world: Published audience figures are 26,000 professional attendees, with 15,904 from the United States, 4,962 from Europe, 1,812 from Asia, 1,186 from South and Central America and the Caribbean, 777 from Canada and the remainder from the Middle East, Mexico, Australia and Oceania and Africa.
Two programmes and everything around them: The programme runs an Education Program and a Scientific Program alongside oral abstract sessions, three poster sessions, spotlight sessions, scientific symposia, special interest sessions, ASH and FDA joint symposia on newly approved therapies, and joint sessions with the European Hematology Association.
Marquee lectures already published: The marquee lectures are already published. The Ham-Wasserman Lecture on Saturday, the E. Donnall Thomas Lecture and Prize on Monday, the Ernest Beutler Lecture and Prize on Monday afternoon, the Plenary Scientific Session on Sunday, and the Presidential Symposium and Best of ASH on Tuesday.
Hybrid, with preview and catch up days: The meeting is hybrid. ASH states that unless otherwise noted all events occur in person with simultaneous virtual streaming, with virtual Preview Days from December 9 to 11 and Catch Up Days from December 16 to 18.
Why Meet with DS2?
Hematology is a sample-first specialty. Blood, marrow, apheresis material and cellular products all have to arrive in the right condition, within the right window, with the record to prove it. Cell therapy programmes add a return leg where the material is the treatment. DS2 builds and runs that layer for trials, labs and treating centers. What we do:
